Caring for Uganda's orphaned children

TAG Africa is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: every orphaned child deserves access to the basics of a dignified life — nourishing food, quality healthcare, and the chance to go to school.

Based in Tororo, Uganda, TAG Africa currently cares for 30 children aged 5 to 12, providing daily meals, medical support, and education. The work is led by Samuel Okello, whose personal commitment and hands-on care keeps these children safe, healthy, and hopeful.

Despite the dedication, the resources fall far short of what is needed. With your support, we can close this gap and give these children the foundation they deserve.

The man behind TAG Africa

Samuel Okello is the devoted heart of TAG Africa. Day in and day out, he ensures that 30 orphaned children have food to eat, a roof over their heads, and the opportunity to attend school.

His work is not just administrative — it is personal. Samuel lives alongside these children in Tororo, Uganda, shares their challenges, and advocates tirelessly for their futures. Despite operating on a fraction of what is truly needed, he refuses to let these children fall through the cracks.
